The engine for this years model has been completely changed. The XR125 is now the home of one of DUCAR'S finest racing engines, and to top it off we've included an electric starting system! Air charges through the dual stage uni filter style foam air filter to the high performance 26mm Japanese carby. From there the air fuel mixture rushes through the 25mm port matched inlet manifold and past the oversized racing valves to give you the best bang for your buck you'll find. What does this mean overall? Well power has increased to a staggering 7.2Kw @ 7800 Rpm and torque is now a gut busting 8.8Nm from 4100Rpm right through to 6500Rpm, while it weighs only 1Kg heavier at 74Kg!
Heavy duty conventional front forks with extended travel are held true by the alloy triple clamp and make sure the bike goes where you point it. Taking care of traction is the polished heavy duty swingarm and CNC nitrogen charged adjustable heavy duty monoshock while the pro circuit style performance exhaust adds the finishing touch.
Super powerfual brakes have been taken directly from big brother, the SM150cc bigfoot. Large single piston front calliper and twin piston rear calliper grip the supersross style wave discs with incredible force. The XR125 has also been fitted with severe duty braided brake lines to ensure there is no loss of brake performance under high pressure, high temperature situations.
